The Windy City Scarf

It took me quite a long time to complete this project, mostly because of some personal issues and a relocation of my craft room. But it’s done now and I’m thrilled with the way it came out. The concept for this reminded me of those wind spinners you see in gardens. It reminded me of wind and of windchimes. But, since my husband is a lifelong Cubs fan, it reminded me mostly of Chicago…the Windy City.

The pattern is very easy, worked in panels that you join as you go. It uses only a single crochet stitch and a tiny trick I used to get those really smooth edges. Don’t chain to turn. That’s the trick. It took only 2 skeins of Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek yarn to make this. If you would like the pattern, you can find it in my shop or at https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/windy-city-scarf-3.

Until next time,

Trish
