New Pattern – Scarlet Doily Rug

It’s been a long time since I made my first doily rug and I felt maybe it was time to do another. As always, I returned to the Lion Brand Hometown yarn because it’s super bulky and super soft under bare feet. This time, I opted for a slightly smaller rug. This one comes in at 37 inches in diameter. There are no horribly complicated stitches here, though the single crochet ribs were quite time consuming. This is a much more dimensional rug than my last and in a bold color to boot. I had a great time making it (despite all the frogging I did at the end) and I hope you will, too.
