Easter is coming!

I don’t often do Amigurumi type project, but I so wanted to make a sweet Easter Bunny and once I had him, I felt like he needed a home. Thus, the giant egg was born…or hatched. The pattern for this one is written out for ease of use. It includes the instructions for the giant egg, bunny, vine, flowers, and smaller eggs. The nice part is, there is still room left in the egg for candy or whatever else you might want to put in.

The large egg is worked entirely in half double crochet, then sprayed with fabric stiffener to make it sit up on its own. The smaller items, the bunny and small eggs, are worked in the round. The whole project is quite easy and could be made by anyone with even a slight knowledge of crochet.
